Job Description

An LCB Camp Teacher’s number one job is to create lasting and memorable experiences for students attending our technology camps.

If you are interested in technology and think you have what it takes to help educate the next generation, then you ARE the person we are looking to hire.

As a camp teacher, you will be responsible for instructing groups of K-12 students on various technology learning objectives.

You will teach students technology skills, help them solve problems, and leave them with a positive lasting impression.

We host our technology camps on weekends, school breaks, and during the summer months.

This is a part-time position working on Saturdays.

Location: Learn.Create.Build Academy is headquartered out of Sioux Falls, SD with satellite regions in Warwick, RI and Charlotte, NC.

Learn Create Build Academy hosts technology camps in 12 states and over 50 cities.

Responsibilities:

- Create an enjoyable atmosphere for learning

- Instruct students on various technologies including video game design, 3D design, and Minecraft.

- Attend training sessions for classroom materials

- Be awesome!

Job Requirements

Requirements:


- A love for teaching and children

- An easy-going attitude

- Comfortable with technology (no need to be an expert)

- Reliable

- Leadership skills

- Valid driver’s license

- Pass a background check

- Willing to work on Saturdays

- Willing to travel


Beneficial Skills:

- Experience with children

- Possess or currently working towards a degree in teaching, technology, or theatre

- Familiarity with technology concepts such as video game design and Minecraft

- Comfortable speaking in front of groups of people

No experience required

Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required
