Digital Media Specialist

Primary responsibilities include using web technologies to achieve business growth goals, identify need and new opportunities and aspire to increase brand awareness. This position should be creative, meticulous with timelines and comfortable working with a team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Create and track promotional emails.

Create innovative ideas that tie web, mobile, email, search, social, and traditional advertising together.

Advise on digital marketing strategies using all necessary tools (e.g. website, emails, social media and blogs).

Research products, services and current strategies to identify new opportunities.

Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence.

Monitor SEO/SEM, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends.

Defines key performance indicators and implements enterprise level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success.

Keep up-to-date with our audience’s preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Manual dexterity to operate computer.

Visual acuity (with correction sufficient to make artistic judgments about layout and design).

Must be able to use computer keyboard and company software programs.

Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime as needed.


Required Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
Proven work experience in the digital media area.
Demonstrable experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software.
Experience implementing and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
Solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
Hands on experience with online marketing tools and practices.
Familiarity with web design and HTML, CSS.

Knowledge of Software Applications, Including:

Great knowledge base in social media, online marketing, blogging and press releases
Ability to use Business Computer Programs
Proficiency in the latest technology including adobe suite products – Primarily Photoshop and illustrator.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products.
